Getting his first taste of on-set experience through the student-run Doghouse Productions, Jake’s love of directing and editing is deeply entrenched in the roots of zero-budget filmmaking. Jake now credits this sparse environment for his ability to find creative solutions to a myriad of problems.
Additionally, Jake worked behind the scenes at JMU’s student news station, Breeze TV, while working toward his Media Arts & Design degree. Jake continues to promote and write stories focused on the internalized frustrations of everyday people, as well as engage with the problems he finds unique to the people of his own and
subsequent generations.
